Legacy Remembrances from some of Mike's Friends & Colleagues

I met Mike when I joined with the Robert Berry Band in the 90's as a backup singer. I was very impressed with the bandmembers as a whole because of their professionalism, dedication, and talent. Mike worked closely with myself and Louise in order to help us come up to speed with our vocals. The impression Mike left on me is unforgettable. I did not know that people like Mike were in the music industry. His patience and kindness could be compared to that of a mother to her child. His universal love and respect for others went beyond human kindness, and into a deeper spriritual relm. Mikes character was impeccable, respectable, and highly admired by many people. I understood Mike to be someone I could have had a longlasting friendship with, and am deeply saddened that I missed that opportunity. Mike is surely at peace now, returned to the place he was before his birth. God bless Mike, his family, and friends.

Mike was a great friend, a great recording engineer and a great musician. He will live in my heart and the music we created forever. I will be adding a complete web page on my site to honor Mike's great musical past. Anybody that has something they would like to post please send it in. It will take a few months to get it all up and running correctly but it will be a great tribute to a great guy.

Mike and I shared the stage with the Robert Berry Band in the early 90's. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met. I've never heard him say a negative thing about anyone. He rarely complained about anything, and was always quick to smile. He was a true sweetheart with a great sense of humor. I am so happy to have met him during my life. I feel honored to have been one of the people that came across his life. He was very talented, and engineered a few of my recordings. Even when I asked him if I could have done a better take, he just smiled and shrugged (which meant maybe/yes). He had a hard time telling me the truth, even if I asked for it, because he was that nice of a guy. I think we can all strive to be like Mike. As I look back, he will always be in my "best" memories.

Michael was one of my closest and dearest friends for the past 20 years. I will always remember him as one of the most honorable, good-hearted, sweet, and dependable persons I have ever known. My last conversation with him was several weeks before he passed away. He was in good spirits and, as always, laughed easily. My family and I will miss him very much. Our hearts go out to Carol and family --

My deepest sympathies to Mike's family and close friends.
I knew Mike professionally, spoke with him often, and considered him my friend. Mike had a fantastic attitude, sense of humor, a willingness to help anyone in anyway, and was always a pleasure to work with.
I'll miss you Mike!
I hope your jamming with the band of your dreams.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Mike worked for me at HP in Palo Alto in hardware configuation. A very unforgetable person.

I will never forget his parting message that we had been friends over the short time.
